This weekend was awesome. The drive out to iowa wasnt bad at all. It took 11 hours because of the freaking traffic jam i got in and i got lost for a bit. But it was all worth it to see agnel finally.
The first night she worked until 11, then we took her brother to cedar falls and we met up with one of her friends at perkins. She got sick from the food or something, that sucked., luckily it wasnt that bad.
The next day, we woke up and went to Des Moines, and met up with her friend Roy, and we went aroudn to a bunch of targets, then went around trying to find somewhere we could eat. no avail. i guess its hard to find vegan food in des moines? Anyways, roy had to go to work, so angel and i settled for pizza hut then went back to the mall. it was a really nice ass mall. brand new. We stayed there til close and then started driving home. Angel wanted to go clubbing, so we did because i told her we would earlier. As much as i dont like clubs, or dancing... i had fun. i didnt dance much, which i felt bad about later cause she definitely wanted me to. next time.
So the next day she was supposed to work at 3 but we had to start at like 12:30 or 1. yea.. i worked too. I did a ton of laundry and we worked on her homework she hardly did for her college algebra class. we got pretty far, but it was hard to get her to care sometimes. i understand though. After work, we basically went to bed. NOt a very eventful day, but we spent ALL DAY together, so it was worth it.
Next day she left for school in the morning, but then called me a little later for the hotel lobby. she didnt go to classes because she needed to work again. eh... i dont mind. i got to see her earlier doing that then i would have if she had gone to class. so we worked on her math more, than around 3 or 4 went to iowa city. I really liked iowa city, i liked des moines alot as well. We went to the mall, then went to get Thai food. that was the first time i had ever tried thai food. i liked it alot. first time i had tofu too. I was gonna leave about 1 am, but i was tired and Angel beign a caring girlfriend, insisted i left at 10, and had her dad pick her up then. I was kinda bummed, but i understand why she wanted that.
The ride back was pretty damn good. It only took like 9:45 minutes. That's also from iowa city. I slept in the highway for an hour about midway through. It sucks being back in PA. not that i dont love PA, but ... ehh... i really miss her. I really liked IOWA though. i defintiely wont have any problems going back!
